In an April 06 an episode Hugh Hefner stated that Holly Madison was the true love of his life. It was also revealed that shooting began in that same time period for the second season of The Girls Next Door. Shooting ran for two and a half months, and covered Hefner's 80th birthday party, Kendra's 21st, and a trip to Europe. The second season began airing on July 30, 2006.

The 3rd season which featured Christmas New Year's, and Holly's 27th birthday party, began airing on March in the USA, it is destined to be a huge season of the show..
